With the seclusion of a romantic getaway and the adventure of a fun-filled vacation, the Grand Royal Antiguan Beach Resort is an exceptional value. Guests also have a chance for a bit of exploration at our Antigua resort-whether it's discovering the sunken schooner Andes or hiking to historic 18th Century Fort Barrington-without leaving the resort.
The beach at the Grand Royal Antiguan Beach Resort is a 1/2 mile of white sandy beach situated on a private cove. The beach and their pool, which is shaped in the form of a conch shell, seem to be the heart of the resort during the day. At night the Casino is in full swing and entertainment is offered periodically at the resort.
It is said that Antigua is one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean, known as a "beach with an island in the middle." With its gentle winds, meandering coastline of safe harbours and protective, pristine coral reefs, it is said Antigua is one of the world's premier tourist destinations.
There is an activities centre on site to keep everyone occupied all day, this includes:
- Sunfishing
- Kayaking
- Windsurfing
In addition to this, the following can be arranged by the hotel:
- Waterskiing
- Scuba Diving
- Day Sails
- Island Tours
- Fishing Excursions
- Nature trails around the lagoon to see many species of birds and native plants.
The grounds are beautifully landscaped with tropical and flowering plants with a variety of colours. You can soak in the fresh water pool with its swim up bar, or play tennis at the eight professional tennis courts. Our Fitness Centre and Golf Courses are also conveniently located on site.
You can also go to any of our Restaurants or Bar:

Meet Peter, Collier and the team at Caribbean Island Hotels, your local connection in the Caribbean. Our team comprises locals and expats, and we are pleased to be able to show off our home to you. Beautiful islands are easy to fall in love with, but it's the people here, their humour, their helpfulness and their passion for life that truly move us. The proud cultural traditions of the islands, as well as the historical sites dotted throughout the region, are things we are working to preserve for future generations to experience and enjoy as much as we do.
