Turtle Restaurant
The cuisine offered in our Turtle restaurant is quite a surprise. Unlike most resorts, the dining experience and choices offered in the "Turtle Restaurant" are varied and interesting.
At breakfast, we offer a large variety including a surprise baked treat, along with local fruits, French toast and the things one expects. At night, one comes to look forward to the art of dining as each day, a new menu, is prepared for your pleasure.
One will only see a repeat item, from soups to dessert, if you visit with us longer than two weeks. Our Chefs, who all started from the bottom, have all, been trained at Johnson & Wales as well as at the Culinary Institute of America. We are all very proud of their culinary results.
We at Long Bay, Antigua offer many kinds of activities. We offer Tennis and a wide range of Water Sports, which include: Sailing, Windsurfing, Snorkelling, Fishing, Scuba (November to May only), Ocean Kayaks and Water Skiing.
All non-motorised sports are complimentary. We recommend a trip to one of the nearby Out Islands to enjoy a day on your own or a Water Taxi to Famous Harmony Hall for a superb lunch.
Long Bay Hotel, Antigua enjoys the best of both worlds, with water on both sides of our resort. On the beach side, which faces West, you can enjoy calm swimming, great snorkelling and sand castle building, along with cool drinks and a great dining experience.
On the Bay Side, which happens to be named, "Indian Town Creek", after the Carib Indians who chose this idyllic setting for their village, we offer all our water sports. Lucky for us, the bay is protected, from the open ocean by a barrier reef, which ensures calm waters.
The bay faces East to catch the ever present Trade Winds. The beach on the other hand faces West to catch the late afternoon sun without the sand in your drink. This well planned placement of our Inn keeps all, our guest and public areas, cool.
